We’ve still got Flaky Ferguson and the dismal Dim Witty posing as Scientists. The former doesn’t seem to be able to count (massive errors on every piece of ‘guidance’) and the latter makes Marvin from the Hitch Hikers Guide sound like a supreme optimist.
They can’t even get Omicron right when the South Africans have already given them the answers, and they’re a month ahead of us.

Professor Medley says that “saying something could happen is not saying that there’s a realistic chance of it happening”. True, but then why do Sage modellers publish some scenarios and not others?
e.g. the most likely case, with error limits stated?

This would be manageable without further restrictions imposed in December 2022. It becomes very clear that the Government is leading the Science, not the Science leading the Government. Not surprising as there are only a handful scientifically literate Members of Parliament amongst a sea of Public School boys and girls who did arts based Politics and Economics Degrees – no wonder we’re in this mess. They aren’t fit for the job.
