The first and last album by the Coachmen was called
“When The Peace Has Come”
In the mid 1960’s when this album was written and produced there was a great awareness of all things natural and ecological – it was the time of the Flower Power movement. So if you listen to the lyrics of the songs then you will find many messages that are uttered by the High Priests (Al Gore LOL) and Priestesses (Greta !) of the again fashionable ECO movement. In the 60’s the Vietnam Draft Dodgers and Students were persecuted; this time it’s the most valuable component of life and the Earth’s best and free fertiliser – carbon dioxide. Situation normal then – just new target for blaming all our woes on.
